That means that this series contains a full canon rewrite from Volume 1-8.
You do NOT need to read LoA or WWCH first in order to read the oneshots associated with them- they are canon-compliant, so as long as you've seen the show, you'll understand what's going on. You might be missing some context/backstory though. It is suggested that you read LoA before reading WWCH, however, just to give context and to flesh out the world and relationships between the characters.
