"I.. I'm Tommy, can you let go now? I need-" but he's cut off as he's pulled forward, cheeks smashed into the beast's chests as strong arms wrap around him.
"Tommy hmm? Such a suitable name to one such as yourself. Is it short for something? Are you hiding that real name of yours?"
He isn't sure what this creature is going on about. Considering he's surrounded by warmth. He doesn't think he's gotten held like this in a long time.
But it's an odd situation. He was just here for some gold. Not to be held like a child in the arms of a beast poorly disguised as a human.
"Well, I like my name a lot actually and could you let me go now? I need to go-"
He's cut off by a sharp snarl that makes his entire body tense but still.
"MINE."

“There's a story,” Jack started, splaying his hands out on the table in front of him. “That everyone that grows up in the town hears growing up. A story about what happened to the travelers that pass through here” Suddenly Tommy was much less interested in hearing Jack's story.
“They say, when a traveler takes the road out, they never arrive at their destination. Instead, the Boar of the Woods finds them. Legend says he stands 8 feet tall, with blood red hair and huge, sharp white tusks. He lures travelers out of the safety of their cars and chases them down through the woods, hunting them and wearing them down until they have to stop. Then he circles, and circles, watching the terror set into the travelers face before finally..'' Jack slammed on the table, making Everyone aside from Niki jump.
“He guts them and eats their insides!!” He yelled. Tommy stared with his eyes wide. Maybe he was just tired, but a pool of dread sat stubborn in his gut as he swallowed dryly. It wasn't even that scary of a story… Right?

Tommy and Wilbur ignore every warning sign and go into the scary woods. When their car breaks down, and they stumble upon a mansion they learn their hosts are a little less than human...

“Who are you?” Techno asked. The boy straightened.
Instead of answering, he shot a question back. “Who are you?”
“Crown Princes Wilbur and Techno, heirs to the throne,” Wilbur answered. Techno watched as the boy’s facade fell, a confused and sad expression falling over his face as the words settled in. “And I think we deserve to know who’s claiming our palace as their own.”
“You– you’re, no– what?” The boy stumbled back a step, bringing his hands up to his chest to cradle them close. “Did they not tell you about me?” the boy asked, blue eyes glimmering in the light, crystalline tears beginning to gather around his lashes. “I’m Theseus.”
Or, Tommy is the forgotten royal bastard. He's spent his whole life wishing that his family will take him home. It just so happens that his cousins are visiting for the summer, and they have no idea who he is. He can only hope that he'll be remembered and be loved the way he deserves.

Tommy may seem harmless at first glance, but Phil and Techno know otherwise. To be a gemsmith, a person who connects soulmates, is not a profession for those who are docile.
But Tommy is intriguing at first glance. Always talking, always moving, always challenging them. So they stick around. Not too long though, they have two other soulmates to find, but long enough to develop their relationship beyond customer and shopkeeper.
If only they realized why they were developing this relationship in the first place before the Hunters came knocking on Tommy’s shop.

Techno swallowed, chin tipped up to avoid the blade at his neck. The Angel stood firm, but the sickly pallor to his cheeks and hitch in his breath betrayed him. He’d been hurt this time. Badly. His robes hid most of him, but The Angel seemed to favor his left side, pressing a hand to it under his robes, wincing occasionally when he had to hitch in another breath. Blood dripped to the floor in a steady drip…drip…drip, darkening the floor beneath him.
In the moonlight, The Angel looked almost ghost-like, the sheen of sweat on his brow shimmering just as his eyes darkened in concentration. His wings shifted occasionally behind him, broken feathers fluttering to the ground at every twitch.
“Look—“
“Shut up,” The Angel growled. Techno shut his mouth with a click. The Angel's hand shifted, not the one with the sword. That one stayed steady, pulling away from his body slightly. His palm came away red, almost black in the darkness. He grunted, teeth grinding, and pressed against the wound again.
“I need someone to patch me up, now,” The Angel grunted. his blade still stayed at Techno’s neck, perfectly still. Controlled. “You seem to have volunteered.”
