Summary

When Ned told Peter about the Stark Industries field trip he was missing out on whilst in recovery, Peter thought he wouldn't have to worry about it. He assumed he'd be asleep for it, as he was most of the time nowadays, and had forgotten about it quickly. He had more important things to worry about, like his damaged arm, his charred face, and everything else that'd happened in consequence of him snapping Thanos out of existence.
But then he went to the cafeteria with Mr Stark, and saw some unexpected familiar faces.

Steve Rogers chose Bucky Barnes over not only Tony Stark, but the rest of the entire world as well, and he stubbornly stuck to his choice well past the point of no return.
Leaving Siberia behind him with Bucky finally at his side, Steve foolishly thought all the consequences of his choice had been dealt with. He couldn't even begin to fathom the immensity of the butterfly effect that the events of Siberia would have caused. Nobody could know at that time, but from the moment Tony Stark finally woke up in the Avengers Compound's infirmary with Extremis running in his veins, the entire universe would never be the same again.

Summary

After humanity is restored and Spider-Man is revealed, the government entrust Reed Richards with Avengers tower and the very gauntlet Tony Stark used to bring back the half of humanity that'd been lost. The residual energy on the gauntlet is what gives the Fantastic Four their powers and Johnny's struggle with being a superhero begins.
