Merlin and Arthur meet on the tube in an initially awkward and rocky start, but quickly realize how well they fit with one another. The complications grow, however, as they both learn how to bring new people into their lives, let their love grow with it, and learn that some people stand in the way simply to stand in the way.
Read for Rare (TM) Sad and Insecure Arthur Pendragon because I find it interesting that we as a fandom acknowledge that Arthur is probably just as (if not more) fucked up as Merlin, yet there are only 30-ish fics with sad or insecure Arthur. I bring you what I want.

Summary
Merlin and Arthur are such dense and complex characters this is like my way of experimenting with their relationship in different circumstances if you will.
Each work is based off a song from my Merthur playlist (some fit better than others) so expect a real mix from canon compliant/deviated to modern aus and magic reveals and basically a LOT of fluff so if, like me you enjoy all of that I hope you’ll enjoy what I’ve written.

Summary
This is what I expect will be a never-ending collection of Merthur stories taking place around most major holidays. Since I am American, I will mostly be considering American holidays because I am more familiar with them, however I try to look at the British calendars and do time period research to make it as reflective of the appropriate culture.
These stories will be fluffy and sweet, most will be open to interpretation as to where they are friend"ship" or relation"ship" material. Unless stated otherwise in the individual story, these stories should be appropriate for all ages. I do hope you enjoy reading these and look forward to them as much as I do!
