The team head to the planet where this Ancient had his laboratory, but hit trouble as soon as they're through the gate. Stuck on a frozen world, the only viable place to wait is the laboratory, only it is not quite as abandoned as they think.

    'No True Pair' is a mad libs sort of writing challenge, found on Dreamwidth. In the 8 character challenge, the writer provides a list of 8 characters and then the mods provide a list of prompts that pairs each of the 8 characters together. The resulting challenge is to write the 28 (!) fics to the prompts created.

    This was real. This was no dream. He had somehow ended up on the wrong side of the ‘gate. There was no DHD, and he was weaponless and captured by strange aliens.

    He knew the chances that his team would find him were slim. But he also knew that McKay could do the impossible, and that Teyla and Ronon would stop at nothing to find him. Woolsey was another matter, but the guy was beginning to grow on him. Maybe he would put protocol to the side for once to try and get him back. And if he didn’t, he knew his team would never give up the search.

    “Never leave a man behind,” he murmured to himself.
