Summary
A Place To Call Home is a post-canon Infinity Train story mainly following Lake after she leaves the Train and an original character, Kaya, after she gets on the Train, but also has Jesse, another original character named Evie, Hazel, Grace, Tulip, and others in amounts that vary from story to story. There is hurt, betrayal, and darkness, but also friendship, adopted siblings, and healing, as well as lots of music.
There’s also mental health issues, but as others have said, it's Infinity Train. That's basically a given.
The series and most works in it will generally have happy endings but there may be some exceptions, generally in prequel stories.
