Summary
In a world where people possess superpowers and hybrids are commonplace, it was only a matter of time before individuals began leveraging their abilities for personal gain. In response, the government established hero agencies to combat such exploitation. Heroes are regulated, compensated, and incentivized for their services, while some individuals choose to fight against injustices as vigilantes, operating outside official channels. Traffic City, like many other major cities, operates within this ecosystem, maintaining a delicate balance of power and ensuring the safety of its civilians. Summary
Occasionally he just can’t stop himself from letting blue fire burn beneath where he walks, or stop the golden rings that swirl around him like hula hoops if he doesn’t keep them hidden. There’s a few too many eyes for the average player to be comfortable with under his feathers, so he does his best to keep them all closed and hidden under the fluffy white layers.
The most notable thing that’s stayed with him since his days up above is his eleventh finger.

Arms wrap around his waist as a deep, rumbling voice speaks in his ear, “Hey, beautiful.”
“Doc.” Skizz says he continues what he was doing, listening to the purr coming from the creeper hybrid’s chest as he nuzzles his face into the back of his neck, pressing kisses to the top of his shoulder and crook of his neck, “How long have you been in my base?”
“A minute or so.” Doc says, “I brought some of your favorite chocolates.”
“Why?”
“Because I love you.” Doc says, squeezing his arms around Skizz at the word ‘love’.

Pressing the glass to his lips, Skizz throws his head back, downs his drink in three easy mouthfuls, lets the whiskey buzz in his system as it slides down his throat, smooth, and settles in his empty stomach. At least he could sooth his urge as an alcoholic, he never had to look very hard to find something to give him a kick. Hopefully, he could drink himself into a mini coma, make himself less of a danger to his loved ones.. Fuck this was pathetic.
Hair sticks to his forehead as his head hangs, feeling the tension in his shoulders and the pain in his neck. Then, dainty soft fingers on his back.
He doesn't have to look up, to recognize the voice in his ears, like diluted mellow honey, or a watered down sugar syrup.
