When she wakes, she puts the dream down to her anxiety about her brother.

Stories are interconnected, but can largely stand alone. Warnings, ratings, and such in each chapter. Posting as inspiration dictates, but reordering to be chronological as I go. Title of collection from the Genesis song "No Son of Mine." Hugh rang the bell. How will Paul answer the door?

Tilly didn't look. "Okay, but you're pretending to be the captain's girlfriend," she said, apparently still caught on that.
Michael swallowed, putting the sleep pants inside the bag. She supposed she should be herself, if only to make the role easier to inhabit. "It's just a mission, Tilly."

Saru blinked; if he'd been harboring any doubts that he was talking to Pike, they clearly evaporated at the phrase "have a nutty" coming from Michael's mouth.
In the sudden silence: "Okay, but body-swapping?" Tilly asked, her tone hitting the sheer ridiculousness of it.

Summary
Getting Hugh and Paul back together after the events of season 2. It takes work, it isn't easy, it's messy, mistakes are made, but it's all worth it.
Part missing scenes, part fix-it, all coming from a love of these characters and a need to have more of them. There is canon divergence but it's fairly minor and in my headcanon doesn't really change anything major to the overall plot of season 3 and beyond.
As ever, Orth is the reason I've managed to write this and actually share it.
