[ON HIATUS] As a result of the time travel hustle caused by the Avengers in their attempt to defeat Thanos, a version of Loki is on the loose, and he has spent the last ten years jumping from one reality to the next using the Tesseract, leaving mayhem in his wake. There’s only one thing left on his to do list: his big missed opportunity, the subjugation of Midgard. When he finally finds a reality that might actually make his task extremely easy, something definitely unexpected happens, forcing him into another reality jump that might bring him to postpone his plans for the time being.
After her impressive work on the Westview anomaly, Dr. Darcy Lewis accepts a pretty interesting job offer by the Stark Industries. With the help of Dr. Banner, Vision is trying to regain the humanity the S.W.O.R.D. tried to steal from him, and he’s going to need Darcy’s expertise in the matter of Hex to find a crucial element on his way to be himself again: Wanda Maximoff.
The Multiverse has a strange way to make sure things go as they should, no matter how many people it pisses off in the process.

“Catra—Catra!” I roll onto my side, an inept swing of my arm colliding against you to get your attention. “Do you wanna know a secret?”
You hesitate, your eyes narrowing as you take me in. “A secret?”
I pull myself up, holding onto your shoulders against the alternating currents of gravity pulling me back toward the floor. Our faces are close, but I have to get close to make sure. You lean in a little. I stare into your eyes, alternating my attention between the two.

Dark Wizards are not as dangerous as someone with a heart of gold who wants to change the world.
Sparrow begins her school year with noble goals, and the fire of youth in her heart. She sees her land in decay, she sees her people in misery, she has a tool in her hand that could bring life to the hills again, and yet, is she uses it, she knows the law will oppose her for the sake of upholding Secrecy.
She spends the first part of this first volume, her fourth year of schooling, in coming to a greater love and humility, lest all perish for her noble goals. She must admit that she may be wrong, must be willing to seek consensus, must be willing to surrender to everyone's decision.
The trouble is, everyone means everyone, including the people she can't tell about magic.
So in the second half of her school year, Sparrow must embark on a course of extreme illegality, precisely because it is so difficult and so dangerous that nobody is watching from that direction. Who would bother to monitor the minefield?
She will hear no objections. This is for the sake of democracy.
Which is to say: This is for the sake of love.
