Wilbur wouldn't say he's obsessed with the Blood God, he just goes to this rundown warehouse week after week because he's interested in underground cage fights, definitely not to watch the Blood God topple opponent after opponent. To his credit, you don't often run into 5'8 rabbit hybrids with bright pink hair, floppy brown ears, and enough skills to wipe out a man twice their size in illegal fighting rings.
But when school starts up in the fall and there's a new student with suspiciously familiar pink hair, Wilbur realizes what it takes to create a kid who fights like he was made to do nothing else.

The child stares at him in fear, looking exactly like the villagers Techno faced off against only a few hours earlier. Same face, same expression; copy and paste. Same uneasiness in the shoulders, same base-level instincts running through their mind.
They look like they want to run away, eyeing his fangs with terror. Like he’s something to be feared.
Well, he’s not. He doesn’t even like the taste of human blood, and bird blood probably isn’t any better.
“Hullo.” Techno finally says, voice rough from disuse, waving a clawed hand in greeting.
Techno hears the way their breath hitches before they let out an ear piercing scream. Techno’s hands slap against his ears, wincing hard.
