    They'd intended to be around the campfire, maybe, and finally give in to the nagging of their parts, or perhaps the incessant bickering in their head would spill over when they finally got fed up, or perhaps they would be dropped in a dungeon with only one or two of the others and be forced to reveal the truth to get out.
    But they hadn't ever seriously considered that they may have to do so in the middle of a fight.

    "Like you?" the Hero asks, just as careful and meticulously cruel as the failure of a spell Dark Link cannot wield.

    “Great Zephos, they are totally shit-faced-” Wind hisses from over his shoulder, peeking out of the doorway just like Four is. He sounds like he’s having the best day of his life. Maybe he is.

    “You’re a good man,” Warriors continues on, entirely oblivious to or uncaring of the audience he has amassed. “Y’ remind me of,” a thick, ugly sniffle, “of m’ own mum.”

    “Oh, wow,” Four mutters.

    Or, Warriors and Twilight sneak away from the rest of the Chain in the captain's era to enjoy a well-deserved break and celebrate the end of a long, long week. They, uh, might have celebrated a little too hard, because now it takes three separate heroes to drag them to bed and get them to focus for more than five seconds on a subject that isn't their deep, undying, brotherly love for one another.

    Tears are shed, drunken heart-to-hearts are had, and lots of blackmail material is collected. At least Four is thoroughly entertained. Written for a sprint prompt in the LU Discord!

    Four (or at least, the violet part of him) really enjoyed the latter.

    Four truly didn’t know how everyone else would react. He played off the short-jokes and jabs and did his best to avoid any confrontation at all costs. Besides, who would ever trust an 11-year-old hero?

     

    The second they find out…it'd be over. Trust and bonds thrown out the window, babysitting and coddling here we go. Four needed to keep his age a secret. It was necessary. Vital.

     

    He should’ve known that all secrets come to light eventually...
