    Peter took a deep breath. Hulk roared loudly and wound his arm back before swinging it forward in a long, racing arch directly at Peter’s body. Without a single thought of himself, his mind only on the woman whose life was in danger, Peter caught Hulk's fist squarely in his hands and ignored the concussive force of it travelling down his palms and throughout his entire body. He groaned under his breath as his knees shook, nearly giving out, and he almost cried out at the pain in his shoulders.
