Summary
Everyone knows the Radio Demon is a cruel, heartless man who cares for no one. Alastor prides himself on this very fact, which is why it surprises him terribly so as to the lengths he'll go through to rescue Niffty. Two weeks after the extermination, Niffty is captured by the enemy.
Vox uses Niffty to lure the ever elusive Radio Demon into his grasp. Left with no other choice, Alastor must comply with Vox's demands and realizes that perhaps, he still has a little bit of humanity left in him.

It takes a few more talks and one more awkward attempt at a quiet birthday celebration the following year for Ozzie to learn that when Fizz says not to celebrate his birthday, he doesn’t just mean don’t throw him a party. He means don’t give him any gifts, don’t get him a cake, don’t even say the words happy or birthday on that day.
It’s hard, but Ozzie learns to adapt by showing Fizz extra affection on other days instead. Their coworkers-with-benefits turns into friends-with-benefits then into some secret third quasi-relationship neither of them is exactly ready to talk about. But it means that most nights, Fizz comes home with Ozzie, and sometimes they share a bed and don’t even have sex first. He buys Fizz as many things as the jester will allow him to, carefully planning any extra special gifts with at least two weeks' space from Fizz’s birthday so he won’t misconstrue the present to mean anything else.
or Ozzie fucks up and celebrates Fizz's birthday shortly into their relationship. He does it again years later, with very different results.

Summary

A wicked storm wrecks Ed on a desert Island. Marooned and heartbroken, he makes a place for himself there, and susses who he wants to be with no Blackbeard or Stede or anyone else to influence him. Stede finds him there, brimming with startling declarations, but Ed is injured upon his arrival. Stede helps him to heal, but Ed has to learn how to trust again before they can truly be together.
