Summary
Father Iwaizumi has been through hell. Not literally, though completely literally, but he's seen a lot of horrible things. He knows the devil exists as he's seen enough bad shit to warrant such things, but that's something he tries to ignore.
He was doing so well about forgetting, too, until he was ordered to check out claims that someone was possessed. If he finds they are then he's to perform an exorcism and be rid of the damned creature. He isn't expecting anything to come of it because he's a skeptic.
But there is something to this claim. The possessed young man is wasting away, he's speaking in a way that is incredibly inhuman. And, worst of all, he knows Father Iwaizumi by name. Not by any name, but one he hasn't heard in over 15 years.
This is a short love story about a priest and the demon that plagues him.
