Summary
Some clothes, strange ones though, nothing like the white linen ones worn in the Commune. They were colourful and out of some strange material Tommy has never seen or felt before. That was another thing that confused him. The only ones who could wear colorful clothes were higher priests and the gods themselves. Where did those clothes come from?
Next to them was a water bottle, something wrapped in a piece of linen and Henry. Tommy pulled out the cow plushie and hugged it tightly. He pulled it away from him after a while, to stare into the plushie’s button eyes.
“Have you heard, Henry? We are going to see your family. Aren’t you excited, big man?” Tommy said with a smile.
He put one of his hands behind the toy’s head and moved it in a way so it looked like Henry was nodding, vigorously.“Yes, yes, I know. I know. I am excited too!”
OR, Cult AU, in which Tommy is a part of a religious commune and his parents decide to take him on a trip! But they plan to return later... right?

“Based on what I’ve heard from Philza, a lot of Tommy’s injuries and the stress of the crew stems from the lack of knowledge on humans. I think it might be in Tommy’s best interest he stays with us while—”
“What?!” Tommy shouted, standing up from his spot on the floor.

Tommy, after dying at Dream's hands again, wakes up some place new. Not Limbo, because he knew Limbo, he'd been there multiple times at this point, but somewhere new. Somewhere different.
Within the first day in this new place, he meets a nice lady named Clementine. Within the next two days, he decides he wants to stick around. Within his last five minutes on Earth, Tommy's new hopes were broken before they could even really bloom, and it doesn't take long for him to vent his frustrations on the closest being he can get his hands on.
Within a cycle, new rumours about humans - an already powerful, feared and banned species - begin circling the Universe.

A laugh bubbled out of him and he sighed in content, a smile - full of hope for his future - spreading over his face as he closed his eyes for the night. He had a feeling he wouldn’t have a nightmare tonight.

All at once, the high he had been on came crashing down. The giddy feeling in his chest drained away and Tommy felt dread fill him in its place.
