That was the most desperate idea he could think of, he had thought about his family for so long, but he could never give up his son. His head was so confused, how could Kristin treat their child so cruelly… But Philza didn't know how humans raised their children, he could just figure it out from what his instincts told him to do. After all, what could a creature like him know?
Now that everything was falling into chaos, he had found the distraction he needed to escape undisturbed with his baby. Or so he had hoped... It had taken so little to find out. He had to push across the borders into the enemy country, hoping they would stop following him. But now it was so cold and he had nothing to cover his son with.

Summary
From the quirky serenity of Isla Quesadilla Chayanne travels to the frozen lands of the Antarctic Empire to meet his hero! Except, being dragged into a boiling pot of political conflicts that is the capital of the Empire is not ideal for a little kid. The family he arrived to meet is still seething, being torn apart by conflict and wars. And still, he wants to find a place for himself and Tallulah. He just wants to be a happy family.
This takes place in an AU timeline where the events of SMP Earth, DSMP and QSMP take place in one universe, and some events play out differently. QSMP lore before 2024... So, this takes place before they had to move to a new spawn.

I'm no longer in DSMP fandom, but I really do love Techno and Phil's friendship with all my heart <3333 So I might continue to write them sometimes, but for the most part this is a time capsule for my QSMP and emduo era :))

Philza had taken to loving every snowflake. The delicate ice painted so beautifully by the frozen air, new and strange as they fell from the sky. Each one as unique as the days he spends in the Antarctic Empire with Techno.
The experience was made all the more unpredictable by his son.
When he held his son for the first time, his will to live that unique life of mortality, that promise he made to his wife when she handed William to him, ignited so powerfully in his soul he could remember what it felt to be a weak man. So helpless to the passage of time his only choice was to move with it and the strength to carry his son with him.
If only he realized how fast time really moved.

Obsidian wings fluffed up as they flapped lightly.
All Will could think was his father could never love him like that. That open, that raw and honest.
