Xisumavoid is the admin of Hermitcraft, a safe haven for people brought together by misfortune, tragedies, and sheer luck. Where hybrids, monsters, humans and even watchers live together as one big dysfunctional family. The central hub isn’t somewhere X frequents due to being a voidwalker. Kerlalis had decided they needed to go on a shopping spree, and their shopping district was out of the question. It would be fun for them to spend time together since they hadn't in quite a while; they needed a break and a date!
Bringing home a new member was not a part of this plan, but nothing ever goes to plan when it involves the hermits, does it?

Skizz knows from personal experience how daunting being the "new guy" in the server is. Being added to a server of established friendships even with the fact he knew everyone before joining was hard to adapt to. He can't begin to imagine how Scar feels. Joining with no prior relationships or friendships, acting more like a hermit than the veterans of the server. So he invites him to a game of Hungry Hermits to get Scar to open up more and with Tango showing him the ropes nothing can go wrong.

He'd just come out here to harvest some sand, taken a creeper explosion to the face that'd wrecked his portal, and the impact had him laying prone in the hot sand with his leg sticking out from his hip at a funny angle and his comm not recording his coordinates properly. His friends are looking for him, he knows that. All he has to do is hold out and stay conscious. He can manage that much. Even if the temperature is slowly climbing higher, and arctic foxes aren't exactly built for the heat.

Doc hated re-wiring day.
It came every year, with the deterioration of the redstone wires in his prosthetics, and every year, he put it off as long as conceivably possible. He didn't like being under the tools, under the lights, even if he trusted Etho implicitly to do his job well. Last year he'd been unable to keep it together, and panicked. Memories swirled together of shadowy faces and polished white halls, pieces of him broken off and replaced, drugged with potions that made him question if he'd been out for hours, or days. While he'd been out, what parts of him had they taken? How much of him was still his flesh, how far away was he from being nothing but machine? Doc being a creeper mutant, panic ended with explosions. Stress categorically refused to let him get re-wired without something to take off the edge. And even if his logical mind, mad genius and all, agreed with her, he couldn't bear it. Going under was terrifying, because who knew how much him would be left when he came back up?(Whumptober 2023: 16 - Alternative - Drugging)
