Taph's character story, nothing bad happens, it's just Taph being Taph(: *LOUD INCORRECT BUZZER*
This is completely outdated from my AU's new lore. Read IWAGDH instead as that includes the current lore for my AU.A young being. Fragile and small, originating from the Heights. Eyes shrouded in darkness, he sees all yet cannot speak about any. Now wielding but a weakened subspace tripmine, they disorientate the killer's eyesight, rendering the perpetrator useless. Hiding a backstory of generational trauma, they weave ties with a killer, 1x1x1x1 and another survivor, one you would never expect.

I'm trying to figure out how doombringer actually feels about taph and what is going on in his head this chapter but taph is the most unreliable narrator ever 😭 (/pos)
he's such a mystery in ur fics I need to open up his skull and see how his brain works. Since he was drunk(?) this one shot I think that means he was more true to himself but like I can't figure out if his advances were impulse from being drunk or manipulation, seems like manipulation but maybe it was a mix of both, like in the moment he decided to use the tactic when he wouldn't do it sober, and he was more confident in it working because of Taph being drunk and honest.
OH MY GOD WAIT DID HE MISTAKE TAPH'S HERO WORSHIP OF HIM FOR A CRUSH AND IS TRYING TO EXPLOIT THAT FACT. CAUSE HE SEEMED SHOCKED WHEN TAPH COMPLIMENTED HIM AND SAID THEY LIKED HIM BUT DAMN HE SWITCHES TACTICS FAST BUT HE PROBABLY ONLY SWITCHED SO FAST AND EASILY BC OF THE DRUNK/TIPSY CONFIDENCE AND IMPULSIVITY HE GAINED NOT TO MENTION TAPH BEING VULNERABLE AND DRUNK AND PROB NOT GOING TO REMEMBER IT TOO OH MY GOD AUTHOR YOU'RE A GENIUS
oh my gosh what if he and clockwork have a thing together and since doombringer misses him he's not only hanging out and getting taph drunk bc he misses having company of friends and projecting that on to taph as a replacement but also projecting his ROMANTIC feelings on to taph as a clockwork replacement while using the manipulation aspect as an excuse for himself in his head

Summary
Exposed. He feels awfully vulnerable, violated just from his physical existence being perceived. It was nauseating how they looked at him because he could tell. He could tell he looked wrong, he wasn't supposed to be looked at.
Or Taph loses his clothes and the other survivors do their best to substitute. (Every chapter is a different survivor helping).
Edit: this sounds a bit freaky but I promise it's not what it sounds like, losing his clothes means like his cloak gets ripped and he has to replace it and stuff 😭[Can be ready as platonic or ship.]
