Most notably: heiress who lived and died by pretty lies, handmaiden to President Snow’s reign of terror, and the leader of his "engineering" team. She’s also Finnick Odair’s friend, and an integral cog in the rebellion, and atoning. A hand of vengeance, instrument of grace; woman, who remembers fireplace ashes and sparklers stuck into cakes.
AKA: Ashley wanted more Capitol worldbuilding, so goddammit, Ashley's going to provide that.
Burn Butcher Burn and the story of Catalina Cain originally appeared in two different forms: The Rest Of Us Just Are, a short story-type fic from a defunct zine and The Necromancer's Ballad, which appeared on various Discords throughout the year. Sorry if you liked this, because it's changed a good bit! But at least it's longer now? And yes, that is a Witcher reference. And yes, I am mad that they replaced Henry Cavill.
