It's taken a long, delicate process, but Saria and Silence have reconciled their past and renewed their vows. Things can't quite go back to the way they were, however. Silence's relationship with Ptilopsis has transformed, and even if Silence were willing to abandon their newfound love, Saria would not dream of asking her.
There is a place for Ptilopsis in their lives. Silence knows where it lies for her. But for Saria, and for Ptilopsis, it's still an unknown.
It might be closer than Saria allows herself to speculate.
