He looked at the mirror just to the side of him, dress still in hand, and nearly stopped breathing.
The way he was holding it in front of himself almost made it look like he was wearing it. The soft sea foam green looked gorgeous against the scales scattered around his face and arms. The way the layered skirt flared around him disguised the fact that he had a very straight, flat figure. The dropped neckline helped with that too, framing his shoulders in a way that made them appear more slender, unlike his suits which only made them broader.
For a moment he manifested his avian traits. The yellow wings looked closer to gold when up against the beautiful shades. Normally when he had both his cod and avian traits visible he just looked like a mess. Now he looked, well…
He looked beautiful.

Summary
This is a compilation of all the pieces that take place within my Over-City/Under-City AU, which is also a Hot Guy/Cute Guy Superhero AU, though that's not the only thing that'll be going on! I plan to keep this series in chronological order, so I'll put all the pieces where they'd fall along the timeline, which may sometimes not line up with the publishing date. The exception to this is 'Pretty Boy' which, IF someone does want to read the whole series in order, I'd want them to have read that one first and then all the rest, so 'Pretty Boy' will always be the first fic in the line-up, but after that you could read chronologically or just bounce around as you please! I've written all of these to mostly stand-alone, so you shouldn't be too terribly confused no matter where you decide to start up!

Grian has been many things.
A servant of a respected noble family. A survivor, with bruises on his skin and hidden wings tied down to his back. A rebel, sneaking away for a night of wonder in the heart of the kingdom - and a curiosity, gawked at by all as the King himself swept him into his arms and spent hours by his side.
When Scar spent days tracking Grian down and helping him escape the cruel grasp of the Watchers, Grian thought his life couldn’t surprise him anymore. Pledging his life to serve Scar was all he could do to thank his King.
Of course, being the personal servant of the King comes with its' own risks - and now Grian could add ‘hostage’ to his list of titles.
Or; someone decides kidnapping King Scar’s beloved servant was a good idea. It really wasn’t.

Scar is smitten and Grian is determined not to fall for his dashing coworker Hotguy, and everything falls apart when the press gets involved. Hotguy is convinced they’re in a secret relationship, and Cuteguy has no idea, and what’s worse is that they are in an all out battle for a promotion in their civilian forms.

“Two heroes against a city of monsters and villains, battling against the evil, together. In the face of danger, they fight but in the face of dating allegations, they flee. Dive into the world of Hotguy and Cuteguy on todays new hit special, undercover heroes!”
Grian sighed as he continued to watch the trailer.
“That doesn’t even look like me!” He cried in exasperation, and turning to his cat Maui he asked,”Does it? No! No it doesn’t! Stupid TV shows,” He said, slamming down the screen if his laptop and jumping up from his cross legged position on his couch.
Maui meowed after him.

Summary
Mumbo often spends many of his mermaid days in a secluded cove, unbothered by the rest of the world until a human stumbles into their place of peace. Shenanigans ensue.
Upon discovering Grian with a mysterious injury (and not believing for a moment he was bitten by a shark), Scar needles the truth of the mermaid cove out of Grian, and joins him in his mission to find and capture Mumbo.
Mumbo, however, does not speak English, knowing nothing of either of their true intentions. For now, it’s not an issue! Mermaid party!!!!!!

“There we go.” Scar panted, crouching down next to Cuteguy’s crumpled form. “I’ve been chasing you for ages! To be honest, I didn’t think I’d catch you, normally you’re a lot faster than that. Are you okay?”
Cuteguy didn’t move.
“Uhh…Cuteguy?” Scar nudged her lightly with his fist. “Is this a trick? Because I’ll have you know I am not falling for it.”
Cuteguy still didn’t move.
“Hello?” Scar scooted around to the front of him, where his face was planted into the sidewalk. “It wasn’t that bad of a fall, was it?”
Then Cuteguy…chirped. Like a bird. That was the best way to describe the sound muffled by the pavement. Scar blinked in surprise, then hesitantly reached out and lifted the vigilante’s chin so that he could see her face.
