    They keep on shoving him down a barrel of water, thinking he would break, thinking he'd spill the secrets of his motherland he is undeniably indebted to. But he lets the water fill his lungs, because no amount of ice-cold torture could get a single word out of his numbing lips.

    They haul him out of the water like a fisherman's net. The fleeting seconds of air against his skin is a precious thing he's grateful for. The days he used to live without a ringing in his ear or constant migraine in his head are so bleary now. And all that wraps around him is bitter water.

    "So uh- gotta say, wasn't expecting you to be a dog hybrid of all things." Techno kept his voice casual, almost lazy, as if the revelation meant nothing to him, even as his hands itched to bury themselves back in Dream's curls.

    Dream's eyes widened as he scooted himself backwards, trying to get his feet under himself "I-I don't know what you're talking about!" he clambered to his feet, hands clenched into fists at his sides as he tried to make himself seem bigger than he was. "A-A-And even if I did, no-one will ever believe you!"

    Dream's been hiding more than just his face, and as his time in prison drags on, a new cellmate threatens to unravel every barrier he's built to hide behind. Unfortunately for him though, he doesn't quite care as much as he thought he would, and Techno is worryingly persuasive.

    Techno looked at the person sprawled at her feet. He had fallen unconscious the moment Techno unsheathed her sword and was now as still as stone. The person had a hand on his head as if dizzy and fell to the ground. Her orders were to raid in and take everything they could with them. She felt like she recognized this person, but from where she’s not sure. Techno continued to study the person even through the chaos all around her. The person had freckles under his eyes and on his nose, his skin was the color of milk in coffee. Techno was forced to stop studying the person, when a defender of L’manburg came over to attack her. She unsheathed her sword with a Shing, pink braid swinging in the motion, she made a quick SLASH and her opponent was down. The person Techno was studying started to blink open their eyes and sit up.

    The moment Techno saw the lime green eyes she recognized him, “Dream?”

    There was only one person on the server that had shown themselves to be able to outwit, to outmatch Dream: Technoblade. Technoblade was not under his control, so Technoblade was a threat. And threats had to be dealt with. Pandora's Vault was created for that purpose: to hold threats that were otherwise uncontainable. The cells had been empty for too long. Dream had plans, and Technoblade, as he stood then, did not fit into them.

    Techno is imprisoned, with nobody but Dream and the voices in his head to talk to. However unlikely it seems, a few pieces of paper will be his salvation.

The netherite barrier, now retracted flush with the floor, is so valuable he can smell it. “So! What’re you in for?”

    “Fucking Tommy… taught him a lesson, he can’t leave, he’s mine--” his breathing is raggedy and his spiel is incoherent. “I’ll fucking get him back I’ll make him pay I’m a god and he owes me, I’m not done with him--”

    “Yeah, I know you abused him. I just didn’t think anybody cared.” Techno folds his arms across his broad chest. “Why’d they finally lock you up?”

    “I - vault.” He hiccups. “I need control, I need leverage, I need power over all of them, because it’s attachments, Techno, that’s what gives me POWER. I can make ANYONE do ANYTHING I WANT. I AM A GOD.”

    He scratches at a patch of dry skin. “Hang on, that’s government talk.”
