He… was at the big playground. The very big one, where you had to run through a lot of mini castles and there was a wall to climb and all stuff, the zipline and at least three sandboxes. He went there only twice with his foster parents and he had to work really hard for it. It was so fun then.
It didn't seem very fun after the dark.
Wilbur looked up and he freezed for a second.
"Mister Craft?" He asked weakly.
Mister Craft, Technoblade's dad, smiled down at him. The big avian man was standing near the benches, a little strap contraption at his chest held a tiny baby with even tinier wings close. It had to be Tommy, Techno’s little brother.

A small sound took him out of his thoughts, it was followed by a screech and squawks.
Something fell over with an empty thud by his left, behind the bushes nearby. His ears flickered at the sound.
Slowly and carefully he approached the source of the sound.
There was a bird, trashing in the ground, fighting against a net while it had - an arrow. An arrow was piercing its wing.

Tommy’s back hurt like a bitch.
He had been holding his wings inside his body the entire school day with no time to take them and stretch. Avians were meant to exercise their wings at least every couple of hours to avoid cramping and possible permanent damage, but what choice did Tommy have? He was a foster kid who, coincidentally, was currently staying with a family of winged people.
Sure, they probably wouldn’t care if Tommy was an avian, seeing as how they were too. But he couldn’t risk that, not now. This family was nice, probably the nicest group of people he had stayed with for years. If it all were to fall apart, Tommy didn’t want to be the reason for that. He had no choice but to continue to do what he had done all his life: hide.

And lingering in the back of his mind is a darker worry about the whole situation; that their behaviors are less of a concern over his weight, and more of one prompted by their instincts…
