“You have my blood on you,” Damian’s voice is hoarse. “It’s poisonous. You’ll die.”
Dick takes a moment to process Damian’s words before frowning. “You’re telling me that you think that your blood is poisonous and that - what - it’s going to kill me?”
Damian nods his head weakly. He raises a hand to grab one of Dick’s wrists, as if it’d keep him from falling on his knees.
Dick stares at him silently. Then, after he collects himself, he sinks down to his knees until he’s at eye-level. Damian’s eyes follow him even as Dick adjusts his hands on Damian’s cheeks.
“Who told you that?” He whispers, as if he was broken, or hurt.

Tim usually didn't ignore details. He was a detective. He knew how even the smallest gestures could convey a world of information. But when it came to one particular subject, Tim elected to ignore the evidence. It wasn't a question he wanted solved, so he tried his best not to notice. It was easier to pretend if he just closed his eyes.

Leo Valdez was tired. Every night, he had been dreaming of the same boy telling him that he 'wasn't where he was supposed to be' and it was beginning to get on his nerves. He was so close to just giving up. The straw that broke the camel's back: being teleported to some random unknown island and having to deal with some 'League of Assassins'
Tim Drake was angry. He had finally got Bruce back but things never returned to the normal he expected. Now, with a dwindling moral compass and paranoia that Ra's is up to something again, Tim refuses to slow down. People need protecting and he's going to be the one to do it.

Summary
A series I'm planning to write with the Batfam in the world of an Odyssey AU, specifically EPIC: The Musical, made by our fearless leader Jorge Rivera! I own no rights to anything in the DCU or EPIC: The Musical, I'm just hopelessly obsessed with both and hope I do them justice with this series :D
All direct quotes from the songs/musical are bolded, and all chapters will be based on a single song. The chapter titles are direct song titles! I'll post a little blurb with character correlations when new people are introduced into the story. The most major difference is that there is no primary-big Bruce romance, this is going to be heavy on familial love and family feels but it will all fit well with the storyline. xD
Bruce will still get his romances though; the man's basically an ingredient for love potions at this point lol, not to mention a free agent in this AU so it's ~ethical~... mostly (glares at Calypso)

Jason loved being Robin, even if the job came with a pint sized stalker. Alvin was going to get himself killed one day, if that was even his real name. Seriously, he'd already had to save the kid twice!
Tim's only joy was his mother's attention and his bird photography. He'd never dreamed of actually getting to meet Robin! Then Robin saved him, twice! He wanted to meet Jason too, to maybe have a friend, but he couldn't. No one could ever know he knew who they were.
But then...Jason was in trouble and Tim...Tim did something very stupid but he had to save his hero. Batman needed his Robin, his son. No one needed Tim Drake. His Mom and Aunts would move on and their lives would be fine.
