I think the twins (Velvet especially) struggled a lot in school with not being popular or having friends, so this is a little snippet into that. I struggle a lot with not experiencing teenage love/what everyone else is experiencing and I think Velvet would too which explains why she wanted fame and fans so bad once she got out of the suburbs (as someone who is growing up in the suburbs Velvet is right it sucks) anyways enjoy I love you <3
