_________________________________________Izuku stared at his bloodied hands in fear, his eyes blurring over with tears. This was supposed to be the end, this was supposed to be his brand new start, so why is he still stuck in this place!? Just a shitty, useless deku who can’t even die right.
And if this is death, then he can feel his regret piling up one brick at a time. This can’t be it. All he wanted is a fresh new start born with a good quirk, or even a weak quirk, or just any quirk, he’s not picky, or maybe even a world with no quirks at all, he doesn’t care where he’ll end up, just not back here!
He stares at his dead lifeless body, his eyes blurring with even more tears, mixing with the blood leaking from his head, as his mangled left hand and leg somehow functions as normal, no pain anywhere.
Well, at least as a ghost, his gruesome death won’t bother him anymore. Small blessings.

Kel loves Basil more than anything, and Kel loves Basil more than anything. They first grew closer after losing Mari, and the two eventually ended up together. Kel’s attachment to Basil is heavy. When you love someone so much, and so unconditionally, flaws are irrelevant. Mistakes may be, too.
The day Sunny admits the truth, Kel’s anger is more than he can possibly describe. However, there’s no anger for Basil. Kel sees what Sunny did as an ultimate evil. There’s no forgiveness for a murder, because that was what he was sure it was. Sunny had caused Basil so much pain, and that was all Kel could think of. To Kel, Basil is the epitome of good. So, naturally, someone who would hurt him must surely be the epitome of evil.
Kel is very wrong.
If you can’t understand history, it might just be doomed to repeat itself.

"fallen stars" is set in a fictional but modern-esque sort of world, created to explore mature-rated themes, and I plan to earn that rating so this is your warning! Please make sure you're in the right mental state to handle the tags before reading, for some are arguably worse than others. Also, to note, I am only using less common/popular ships as a fun challenge and also because rarepairs deserve multific aus and other such nice things too :D
I promise that I plan to end the entirety of the AU on a positive, happy ending note, but the individual fics themselves do not have guaranteed happy endings. The content is mostly hurt/comfort, though there is hurt/no comfort, but if you're anything like me, knowing that's not the end of their story is comforting for getting through angsty sections.
The fics are ordered in chronological order, but span over multiple different characters and their stories, meaning that most of the fics can be read standalone if you only wish to read some and not the whole AU.

Type Thiwat Phawattakun had a quick temper, no impulse control, and his words never matched up with his thoughts. He has a reputation as an asshole and a homophobe, someone who would probably knock your lights out if you so much as looked at him wrong. He had a reputation as a lady's man, a fuckboy, someone who had probably had sex with every other freshy girl in his faculty and more.
Unfortunately, only those first four things were the truth. Or, the first five. He was an asshole, if he were honest, but most of the time it was accidental. He just had a whole hell of a lot of problems that he didn't think about, and that tended to come out in the worst ways... like punching a gay guy so much he almost got expelled... and screaming at people... and dropping everything just to chase someone down the beat the shit out of them for saying something about him... and also, more recent to his situation, getting ready to beat this shit out of whoever thought it was funny to spread a rumor that his roommate was gay.
Unfortunately for Tharn, his roommate actually IS gay... aw hell.
(Alternatively - the one where Type has PTSD, Tharn is perceptive, Techno is trying, and I don't know Thai.)
