    OR: Murderbot AU. No, you don't need to have read the series to understand. In which Techno is Murderbot, AKA a security construct who hacked his governor module and just wants to play Minecraft but will nonetheless protect his human clients (not family, never family).
    Phil, Wilbur, and Tommy are said human clients, who come to see him as more than just a security robot.
    If anything happens to them, Techno will kill everyone on this planet and then himself.

    Phil wasn’t an idiot. Despite the vague wording, it couldn’t have been clearer what they were asking of him.

    If he’d looked suspicious before, then he surely did now, swallowing down bile and pressing his shaking hands onto the desk as the letter dropped from his fingers.

    They were asking him to kill someone. Actually kill someone.

    Part of him hoped it was a fake out, that they wouldn’t want him to do something as cruel as that. But the rest of him knew that wasn’t a likely possibility. They had undoubtedly killed several people by their own hands, and they wanted to know if he was capable of doing the same, whether they could depend on him to do their dirty work.

    Fuck, he was going to be sick.

    Phil joins the Syndicate as a spy and works his way up the ranks. He draws the interest of leaders Wilbur and Technoblade upon completing one of his assignments, and gains a rather unusual job.

    But before Wilbur could bask in his victory, Tommy struck back with a blow far more devastating. The godling beamed, his small hands clapping together as he shouted, “Techie!”

    Technoblade froze. A strangled gasp escaped him, his eyes widening. Wilbur barely had time to react before Tommy pressed his advantage.

    “Techie! Techie, Techie, Techie!” he cheered, his voice growing louder with each repetition, pure joy radiating from his tiny frame. And then, with a casual wave of his hand, the pigs on Technoblade’s pajamas sprang to life. Tiny, chubby little things, they trotted off and onto the table, before, with another wave of Tommy’s hands they grew soft, fluffy white wings and began fluttering around the room, their oinks harmonious with Tommy’s delighted shriek.

    “Techie!” Tommy exclaimed again, pointing to the magical pigs now circling them. “Piggies!”
