Duke has a really bad migraine due to overworking his powers AND a concussion. Needless to say he is not having a good time. Luckily, Bruce is there to take care of him.
Or there's a such a lack of Bruce and Duke centric content in the fandom. So I had to fucking do it myself. If I had more motivation, I would write a longer fic about Bruce learning to raise a metahuman and over preparing because he's such a mother hen.

Lucifer would retort sharp and sit up defiantly. As a consequence, the room would start to spin. As if expecting Lucifer to do exactly that, Diavolo would sigh and lay their hand on the center of Lucifer’s chest, pushing them onto the mattress once more.
“That’s a bad idea. How did I know you were going to do that..” Diavolo would utter with a trace of frustration within their usually optimistic voice. It was a deep contrast, similar to a growl. “For your own sake, lay still for once in your 6000 years of life.”
Diavolo’s hand stayed in place for an extended period of time, possibly to ensure they wouldn’t try to sit up again.

Lucifer’s self negligent habits finally result in a wake-up call after centuries of repetition. Lucifer only had himself to blame after getting over pride-induced denial, the very cause of his problems.

As Shuichi's foot hits that bottom step, he effectively springs the trap that should have taken his life and begun the killing game--and yet somehow, he survived, leaving the rest of the class shocked at the attempt on his life, and even more surprised when they discover that one of them really did succumb to a separate attack.
Shuichi had thought, had hoped, that after the first failed murder attempt, his attacker would have given up and left him be.
Oh how wrong he was.
